Peggy has inspired me to be more focused on my activity level and overall health. When we worked together she was always on-the-go whether it was refereeing a game training for a triathalon biking running...she was always doing something! Even during the work day she would sit and write a report and then would need to get up and move around. She would often go and play with the kids for a bit during those time like the time she started a water with the kids on the playground! Even when she was playing she was helping those kids develop social skills tolerance for sensory input etc. She was truly the best co-worker and OT ever! What I learned from her could not be captured in one paragraph. Peggy has been an inspiration to me for her leadership skills to keep the focus on the student even when there were issues in the background. Things usually get resolved when the focus is to support the student. I also am grateful that she appreciated the ‘little things’ that sometimes go un-noticed. One time she came to do an observation and arrived a few minutes early. I had a student that always had fingerprints on his glasses so I was showing him how to clean his glasses. She just smiled and said thank you from the mother of child who frequently had dirty glasses when he was growing up. fight
