This
project
explored
functionalities
of
(ghostly)
mastery
within
the
radical
context
institutionally
historical
designations.
We
first
identified
designations
our
university
campuses
and
then
using
Jackson
Mazzei’s
(2012)
thinking
with
theory
entangled
hauntological
perspectives
published
“material”
(e.g.
website
articles
materials
on
official
websites)
researcher
generated
photographs.
As
such
purpose
this
is
to
loosen
grip
narrative
governing
designation
markers
located
throughout
learning
institutions.
Thus
in
unleashing
ghosts/hauntings
we
offer
a
theoretically
informed
opening
towards
troubling
vulnerability
history/ies
narratives
spaces
institutions
seek
to—and
frequently
successfully—master.
