Matthew 6:1-34 Giving and Prayer Take heed that you do not your alms before men to be seen of them: otherwise have no reward Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms sound a trumpet thee as the hypocrites synagogues streets they may glory men. Verily I say unto you They their reward. But let thy left hand know what right doeth: secret: seeth secret himself shall thee openly. Fasting Moreover fast not hypocrites sad countenance: disfigure faces appear men fast. fastest anoint head wash face Father secret Treasures Lay up yourselves treasures upon where moth rust doth corrupt thieves break through steal: lay neither nor treasure is there heart also. Eye light body eye: if eye single whole full light. evil darkness. If darkness how great darkness! Serving God No man can serve two masters: either he hate one other or else hold despise other. Ye cannot mammon. Trust thought life eat drink yet body put on. Is life more than meat raiment? Behold fowls air: sow reap gather barns heavenly feedeth them. Are better they? Which by taking add one cubit his stature? Seeking First Kingdom why take Consider lilies field grow toil spin: That even Solomon all was arrayed like these. Wherefore so clothe grass morrow cast oven O little faith? thought saying What eat? or drink? Wherewithal clothed?
