Courtney and her sister Whitney used to do a canoeing day in the summer once a year after they hit a certain age. This was their 3rd one I think. Whit usually does all the planning for it picks the day invites the friends and so on while court just tagged along. This one particular time unbeknownst to Court she couldn't find anyone to join us so the spontaneous person she was decided to put a post out on Craig's list stating her and her sister will be canoeing on the fox River on JULY 10 2010 if anyone would join us. Of all people Jesse was crazy enough to respond. He had then asked Joe to come. Joe was not down for meeting up with two weirdos Jesse met on Craig's list! The morning of July 10th came and whit was ready for the adventure Court however was not. Still in bed from a fun night prior slightly hungover she said Whit took Court by the ankles and pulled her out of bed saying Moving slowly we get there. While waiting with the other responding person Lewis one interesting fellow Court was getting impatient and ready to get going but Whit insisted we wait for the others. Finally Joe and Jesse show up one of the first things Court remembers Joe saying was As he pulls it out. We set up camp and we hit the bus to get on the river. All smiles and good times. Court enjoys her 1st ever can of PBR in the canoe. We pull off to a cliff Jesse wants to jump off of. Court afraid of heights was hesitant jokes about it the cliff became the jump to womanhood. So natutrally Jesse became a woman first. At the top Court facing her fears with encouragement from the boys she jumps! Half way through our 12mile canoe trip of nonsense fun we stop at the bridge to chill. Having such a good time Court and Joe sit on the bridge and chat bewildered by the fact these guys were so cool she says Joe blurts Court is shocked and grateful they were not murderers! They ask how old we were Court was about to lie thinking of 21-23 as Whit exclaims she's 20! They were 28.. the canoeing is done we're set to camp and someone took our spot! We hang with them even though we weren't ecstatic about sharing they were rude and obnoxious one wanted Court to sit next to him she refused and said she'd rather sit next to Joe. This guy got extremely upset and wanted to start a fight with Joe. Whit Joe and Court went for a night walk around the camp site to figure out what to do whit was sober so she decided to take us home. Jesse slept in the tent Joe slept on the couch of whit and court's parents house. Carmen wakes up to see a stranger sleeping on her couch. Court wakes up happy to see the cute boy still there. Having to work the next morning Whit drops Court off to work hugs Joe good bye and off they went. Days later Court couldn't stop thinking about the interaction and found Jesse and Joe on fb to exchange numbers. Even though dating wasn't official until later on Court and Joe consider 7-10-10 as their anniversary marrying 5 years later. And the adventures still go on can we do this another weekend?you are coming with me. want to see my machete?I usually know sisters friends how i not you guys? How sister?WE DON'T!
